Najwa A. Attiga is an executive leader, senior corporate legal advisor, arbitrator, author, and business owner. With a Master of Laws from Columbia University, she’s a recognized international corporate attorney specializing in Corporate Law, M&A, Investment Funds, Private Equity, Governance, and Dispute Resolution. Based in Abu Dhabi, she was the first female attorney to lead a legal department in a regional Sovereign Wealth Fund. Her 25-year career spans multiple disciplines in public and private sectors across MENA, GCC, and USA. As founder of the Arab Women Lawyers Group Middle East, she champions Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Named to the Legal 500 GC PowerList Middle East in 2019 and among the most influential women in the Arab World from 2020-2023, Ms. Attiga authored “The Rights of Children in International Law.” She’s passionate about women’s economic empowerment and gender equality in business and society.
