Pedro Serret Salvat is the President EMEA and General Counsel EMEA of PPG, a listed US company with corporate headquarters in Pittsburgh, US, and with EMEA headquarters in Rolle, Switzerland. PPG is a global manufacturer of paints, coatings and specialty materials and a Fortune 200 company with operations in nearly 70 countries around the world strong of 50,000 employees worldwide with 15,600 based in Europe, Middle East and Africa. In his role as President EMEA, Pedro is accountable for maximizing profitable growth through business alignment and synergies across the region and for driving strategic initiatives forward. In his role as General Counsel EMEA, Pedro oversees the company legal and compliance matters and provides legal, strategic, and implementable advice to all strategic business units in the company and to its Executive Committee and European Leadership Team. Prior to joining PPG, Pedro worked as Head of Transactions for a Swiss-listed global company in Zurich and as Director Legal for a French-listed global company in Paris. Prior to his in-house practice, he also worked in private practice in Brussels in the fields of M&A and Antitrust law. Pedro is admitted to the Spanish Bar and holds law degrees from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona) and Université de Liège (Liège), and business training at IMD (Lausanne).
