Jill Howell Williams is the Dean of the Moorgate Campus at The University of Law and an Associate Professor. Jill studied law at the University of Bristol and is dual qualified as a barrister and solicitor. She qualified as a solicitor at Charles Russell and specialised in mergers and acquisitions until she moved into legal education. She joined The University of Law in 1997 and has extensive teaching experience on the LPC, GDL and Masters courses. She was the author of the student text book “Acquisitions and Group Structures”. She also worked for Practical Law to develop, write and deliver the legal profession’s first structured programme of corporate post-qualification training. More recently she has become involved in management at the University, having been appointed the Moorgate Campus Dean in 2016. In 2019 Jill launched the Moorgate Legal Tech Hub and jointly leads the University’s Legal Technology Research Academy – ULTRA
