Alexandre Schaff has 20 years of professional experience. He is the Group Legal Director of Socomec,
an independent manufacturer of electrical equipment with a strong presence in EMEA, North
America and APAC. He is accountable for all legal matters within the Group, ranging from corporate
law, business & operations, insurance and compliance.

Alexandre started his carreer in private practice in 2007 within the M&A – Private Equity department
of SJBerwin LLP. He then joined Jeantet Associés and later LPA-CGR where he enlarged his expertise
to other areas of business law, including contracts, litigation, insolvency and pre-insolvency
proceedings or projects with a strong IP/IT component.

After ten years in law firms, Alexandre joined JCDecaux, the world’s leading group in outdoor
advertising as Head of Legal for Europe, Africa and Oceania. He was also involved in strategic
projects, including M&A and the digitalization of the OOH business (data-related innovations). He
then worked for Atalian as Group General Counsel before joining Socomec in 2025.

Alexandre is a graduate from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques of Strasbourg (Finance & Economics)
and also holds a postgraduate degree in International Business Law. He speaks French, English and
German.
