As an EU and US Corporate Generalist, Julia has guided the Volvo Group in various global leadership roles for over a decade. Currently serving as the Vice President, Legal and Compliance, at Volvo Penta AB in Gothenburg, Sweden, Julia oversees all legal aspects related to the Volvo Penta industrial business unit, which represents 60% of the company’s revenue. She is also the Compliance Officer for Volvo Penta. Prior to joining Volvo, Julia completed a federal clerkship and practiced law at an AmLaw 100 firm. Due to her lifelong interests in law, business, and European affairs, she simultaneously earned a juris doctor and an international MBA from the University of South Carolina.
