Larry Cunningham, the Provost, Dean, and Professor of Law at Charleston School of Law, has been shaping legal minds since June 2020. With a rich legacy from St. John’s University School of Law, he has been recognized with accolades for his innovative teaching, which incorporates a blend of methodologies to enhance student engagement. Cunningham’s legal career is marked by significant roles, including prosecuting in Virginia and appellate work in New York. His scholarly work addresses critical issues in education and ethics, augmenting his teaching of Evidence with practical insights. His legal acumen is underpinned by a J.D. magna cum laude from Georgetown and a deep commitment to legal scholarship and pedagogy, evidenced by his testimony before the Senate and international teaching experiences, such as his Fulbright grant work in Cambodia.
