Shruti is Head of Fuse, A&O Shearman’s tech innovation space launched in 2017 to identify and collaborate with LegalTech and FinTech companies. Fuse is the only incubator consistently ranked Band 1 in Chambers and Partners’ ‘Global-wide LawTech Incubators & Accelerators’ category, having hosted over 90 companies worldwide.

Prior to Fuse, Shruti specialised in credit derivatives and became the first person at A&O Shearman promoted directly to partner in its Advanced Delivery & Solutions Group. Her achievements include the Asian Tech Pioneer Award (2024), Asian Women of Achievement Award (2019), and recognition in the Financial Times’ Top 10 Legal Intrapreneurs.

Outside the firm, Shruti serves on the Board of ZSL, advises the University of Oxford’s MSc in Law and Finance, and is a governor at Haberdashers’ Schools. She also manages a portfolio of private investments and appeared as a restaurant investor on BBC 2’s “Million Pound Menu.
