Terms and Conditions – GLF 2026 + Awards

1. Definitions

1.1 In these Terms and Conditions:

• ‘Services’ include the Global Legal Forum conference, GLF Regional Legal Excellence Awards program, awards ceremony, nomination processing, judging services, and all related activities
• ‘GLF Forum’ means the Global Legal Forum conference scheduled for March 5-6, 2026
• ‘GLF Awards’ means the GLF Regional Legal Excellence Awards program and ceremony
• ‘Law Pundits’, ‘GLF’, ‘we’, ‘us’, or ‘our’ means Law Pundits LLP
• ‘Participant’, ‘you’, or ‘your’ means any person or entity purchasing tickets, submitting award nominations, or attending events
• ‘Force Majeure’ includes but is not limited to: pandemic, epidemic, government restrictions, war, terrorism, natural disasters, venue unavailability, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control

2. General Terms

2.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases of goods or services from Law Pundits, including GLF Forum tickets, GLF Awards nominations, ceremony tickets, and any related services.

2.2 These Terms and Conditions may be amended at any time at our sole discretion. Continued use of our services after amendments constitutes acceptance of new terms.

2.3 By purchasing any services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2.4 If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect.

3. Contract and Pricing

3.1 All prices are in Euros (EUR) and inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

3.2 We reserve the right to change prices, descriptions, speakers, agenda, venue, dates, award categories, judges, or any other aspect of our services at any time without prior notice.

3.3 While we endeavor to maintain published schedules and programs, changes may occur due to speaker unavailability, venue issues, or other circumstances. We are not liable for any losses resulting from such changes.

3.4 A binding contract is formed only upon our email confirmation of your order and payment processing.

3.5 You warrant that you are legally capable of entering contracts, authorized to make payment, and have provided accurate information.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Accepted Payment Methods: Valid debit/credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) and bank transfers.

4.2 Payment Due: Full payment required at time of registration/nomination submission.

4.3 Currency: All transactions in EUR. Currency conversion fees are your responsibility.

4.4 Failed Payments: Orders with failed payments will be automatically cancelled without notice.

4.5 Pricing Tiers: Early bird, standard, and final pricing apply based on registration date, not payment date.

5. GLF Forum Ticket Refund/Cancellation Policy

5.1 Early Cancellation (More than 90 days before event):

• Written notice required to [email protected]
• 80% refund available (20% administrative fee retained)
• OR nominate replacement delegate at no additional cost

5.2 Standard Cancellation (31-90 days before event):

• Replacement delegate nomination permitted
• 50% refund available with 50% administrative fee
• No refund for tickets purchased after December 1, 2025

5.3 Late Cancellation (0-30 days before event):

• Replacement delegate nomination only
• No refunds available regardless of purchase date
• Administrative fee may apply for delegate changes

5.4 No-Show Policy:

• No refunds or credits for non-attendance
• No replacement delegate permitted after event start

6. GLF Awards Nomination Terms

6.1 Nomination Fees:

• €750 per award category
• Non-refundable under all circumstances once submission is processed
• Volume discounts apply only at time of initial submission

6.2 Submission Requirements:

• All nominations must be submitted via official portal by deadline
• Required documentation must be complete and in specified formats
• Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances
• Maximum file size: 10MB per file, 50MB total per submission

6.3 Judging Process:

• Independent judging panel with final decision authority
• Judging criteria published on website
• Judge decisions are final and binding
• No appeals process available

6.4 Winner Selection:

• Winners announced exclusively at awards ceremony
• Attendance not required to win but strongly encouraged
• No guarantee of winning regardless of submission quality
• Categories may be combined or cancelled if insufficient quality submissions

6.5 Intellectual Property:

• You retain ownership of submitted materials
• You grant us royalty-free license to use submissions for judging, promotion, and awards materials
• We may use winner information and firm details for promotional purposes
• You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to all submitted content

7. Awards Ceremony Ticket Policy

7.1 Ticket Categories: Standard, Premium, VIP, and Corporate Tables with different inclusions and pricing.

7.2 Refund Policy:

• More than 60 days: 70% refund (30% administrative fee)
• 31-60 days: 50% refund (50% administrative fee)
• 0-30 days: No refunds, replacement attendee permitted
• Corporate tables: Special terms apply, contact for details

7.3 Dress Code: Black tie/formal business attire required. Entry may be refused for inappropriate attire.

8. Force Majeure and Event Changes

8.1 Event Postponement/Cancellation:

• If postponed: Tickets valid for new dates, no refunds unless you cannot attend new dates
• If cancelled: Refunds processed within 90 days minus administrative costs
• Virtual format: No refunds if event converted to virtual/hybrid format

8.2 Government Restrictions:

• Netherlands restrictions: Full refund available OR credit for future events
• Other jurisdictions’ restrictions: Credit for future events, no cash refunds
• COVID-19 or health restrictions: Credits for future events preferred over refunds

8.3 Venue Changes:

• Alternative venue in The Hague area: No refunds
• Significant location change: 50% refund available OR credit for future events

8.4 Program Changes:

• Speaker changes, agenda modifications, or format changes do not entitle refunds
• We reserve right to modify programs to ensure event quality and safety

9. Liability and Warranties

9.1 Service Provision:

• Services provided “as is” without warranties
• We do not guarantee specific outcomes, networking opportunities, or business results
• Award submission does not guarantee finalist status or winning

9.2 Limitation of Liability:

• Our total liability limited to amount you paid for services
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
• We are not liable for travel costs, accommodation, or other expenses
• We are not liable for business losses, lost opportunities, or reputational damage

9.3 Participant Responsibilities:

• You are responsible for travel arrangements, visas, accommodation
• You are responsible for insurance coverage for travel and attendance
• You must comply with venue rules and applicable laws
• Disruptive behavior may result in removal without refund

10. Visa and Travel

10.1 Visa Requirements:

• Visa requirements are your responsibility to determine and fulfill
• Visa rejection/delay does not entitle automatic refunds
• We may provide invitation letters but cannot guarantee visa approval

10.2 Travel Insurance:

• We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance
• We are not responsible for travel disruptions, delays, or cancellations

11. Data Protection and Privacy

11.1 Personal Information:

• Handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy at lawpunditsglobal.com/privacy
• By registering, you consent to data processing for event management and communications
• Award submissions may include personal and business information shared with judges

11.2 Marketing Consent:

• You consent to receiving event-related communications
• You may opt out of marketing communications but not essential event communications
• Winner information may be used in promotional materials

12. Intellectual Property

12.1 Our Content:

• All GLF content, materials, and branding are our intellectual property
• No reproduction or commercial use without written permission

12.2 Your Content:

• You retain rights to submitted nomination materials
• You grant us license to use for judging, promotion, and awards materials
• You warrant you have rights to all submitted content

13. Dispute Resolution

13.1 Governing Law:

• These terms governed by laws of the Netherlands
• Exclusive jurisdiction of Netherlands courts

13.2 Dispute Process:

• Initial disputes should be addressed to [email protected]
• Mediation preferred before litigation
• Legal fees may be awarded to prevailing party

14. Special Provisions

14.1 Photography and Recording:

• Events may be photographed/recorded for promotional use
• Your attendance constitutes consent to such use
• You may request exclusion from promotional materials

14.2 Networking and Business:

• We facilitate networking but are not responsible for business relationships formed
• Any business dealings between participants are solely between those parties

14.3 Accommodation and Venue:

• Recommended hotels are suggestions only
• We are not responsible for hotel bookings or accommodation issues
• Venue accessibility information available upon request

15.5 All communications must be in writing via email. Phone calls will not constitute official notice for cancellations or refunds.

16. Specific Award Categories Terms

16.1 Eligibility Verification:

• We reserve right to verify eligibility and disqualify ineligible submissions
• False or misleading information may result in disqualification without refund
• Regional eligibility determined by our criteria and judge assessment

16.2 Award Presentation:

• Physical attendance at ceremony not required to receive award
• Awards will be shipped to non-attending winners at our expense
• Acceptance speeches limited to published time limits

16.3 Post-Award Usage:

• Winners may use official winner designation for 24 months
• Specific usage guidelines provided to winners
• Misuse of award recognition may result in designation revocation

By registering for GLF 2026 or submitting award nominations, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Netherlands. The parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Netherlands.
