This Privacy Policy explains how Law Pundits ("we"), organiser of the Global Legal Forum, processes personal data in connection with the event and this website. We act as data controller. Contact: [email protected].

1. What we collect

Registration details (name, work email, phone, company, role, country); billing information (payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store card numbers); visa-letter details where you request one (name as in passport, nationality, passport number, booking reference); speaker and partner correspondence; and newsletter sign-ups.

2. Why we process it

To register you and deliver the event (performance of a contract); to issue visa invitation letters at your request (consent); to send you event-related service messages (legitimate interest); and to send marketing about future editions only where you have opted in (consent, withdrawable at any time).

3. Sharing

We share data only as needed to run the event: with our payment processor (Stripe), the venue where required for security or access, and service providers under data-processing agreements. The opt-in delegate networking list is shared only with attendees who choose to join it. We do not sell personal data.

4. Retention

Visa-letter data (including passport numbers) is deleted after the event. Registration and billing records are kept as required by Dutch tax and accounting law. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing, by emailing [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

6. Cookies

This site uses only technically necessary cookies and similar storage. If analytics or marketing cookies are added later, a consent banner will be introduced at the same time.
